The Weather Report is a story about a woman living in on a farm and weather station in one of the remotest places on Iceland all by herself. She runs a sheep farm, train border collies, runs a lighthouse and sends the weather report to Reykjavik every three hours day and night. THE WASHINGTON POST

Pödelwitz is a 700-year-old idyllic village with a Romanesque choral tower church , old chestnut trees and half-timbered houses. Of the original 130 inhabitants, only 23 remained after the relocation initiated by MIBRAG. Pödelwitz is a district of the Saxon town of Groitzsch in the district of Leipzig. The site is located in the planned mining area of the open pit United Schleenhain. Pödelwitz has 22 houses and a parish church.
